Help Train Two Young Activists

Organized by MRoCkEd

We appreciate your support
Hello,

We are two young, dedicated freedom fighters looking for some help to bring our activism to the next level.

We have been selected among 125 top activists to receive the most intensive campaign training available, over a five-day period at the YAL National Convention at the Leadership Institute in Virginia. The course is intended to prepare individuals to successfully manage campaigns and promote political causes to "win on principle."

Our past activism includes:
- Traveling twice to Kentucky to campaign for Rand Paul, with one of us then interning full time for the general election campaign.
- Attending and volunteering at the last two CPACs
- Helping create and promote various moneybombs for candidate including Rand Paul, BJ Lawson, and Ron Paul.

Our future plans are as follows:

One of us will be volunteering full time in Iowa, while another plans to spend several weeks in New Hampshire leading up to the primary.

We believe the campaign training will prove invaluable in maximizing the effectiveness of our activism. We hope to have successes in winning over voters for Ron Paul and like-minded local candidates in the 2012 election, as well as spreading the message at our campus YAL chapters.

Unfortunately, our young age comes with minimal financial resources. Taking time off from work has significant downside when we have rent, tuition, and other expenses to take care of.

For that reason, we are hoping members of the RPF community will consider contributing if they feel the opportunity would be a good use of our time.

For transparency purposes, the costs are broken down as follows for two (2) people:

- Training expense $30 ( x 2) = $60
- Round trip Greyhound from Iowa = ~$300
- Gas expense from Connecticut = $100
- Parking Expense for 7 days = $70-135.

With all of this, $595 should be enough to cover all expenses incurred as part of the trip. We will each take on the opportunity costs of losing a paycheck as well as miscellaneous expenses such as food.

If you feel this is fair and a good cause, please consider making a contribution.

Thanks so much!

Mark and Thomas
